This is a book called Women, Art and Technology! It appeared to be a collection of descriptions of work that women have done in the intersection of art and technology. I was immediately attracted to the work of Steina Vasulka, who was an early pioneer of video art. I loved her descriptions of her life in New York during the early days of video art, where she and Woody Vasulka first discovered video as an art form and ended up founding The Kitchen, a multi-disciplinary art and performance space.

I also think her piece, Geomania, is super interesting, because not only does she consider the content generated to be put on the screen, she also considers how this screen-based work will be displayed. The pyramid form is orderly and unexpected, and I love it.
