A story about robots.
Here’s a map of the story. Yeah the intro is absurdly linear.
I really liked the way you made use of the wardrobe and general appearance in order to help tell the story. I noticed that some of the options would change suddenly on mouse over. A few of them ended up garbled. I don’t know if it’s supposed to reflect your rusty body or if it’s just a glitch. In addition, I like how what would be pretty heavy Asimov stuff is casually handled. Pretty funny.
Some of the human-robot relations I feel like were awkwardly handled. Some, like the bank were amusing, but it would have been nice to be able to have decisions you made regarding people to have a more lasting impact.
Liked the writing in this one a lot. Elements like the character creation give it a different feel then every other game. I think you also accomplished something hard to do, which is to make a completely non human protagonist relatable. This is a much more complex idea then what we had to do, but I’d love it if the choices you made for how your character looks came more into play later in the game.
The writing was enjoyable, you definitely have a clear voice. Sometimes it was frustrating finding the options that would let me progress in the story, but it was overall enjoyable. Perhaps it’d be cool to add some visuals that tracked the change of the character’s appearance.
